BT-Prost is a prostaglandin analog used to treat high intraocular pressure in conditions like glaucoma. The active ingredient, Bimatoprost, is highly effective at increasing the natural drainage of aqueous humor from the eye. By improving the outflow of fluid, it significantly lowers the pressure that can otherwise lead to blindness. Interestingly, this medication is also known to increase the growth and thickness of eyelashes as a side effect. It is usually applied once daily in the evening. Users should be careful to apply it only to the eye, as contact with other skin areas may cause unwanted hair growth. It is a long-term maintenance medication for chronic eye pressure issues.
