Description

TV-Prost is a prostaglandin analogue eye drop used to treat open-angle glaucoma and ocular hypertension. It works by increasing the outflow of aqueous humor (fluid) from the eye, which effectively lowers intraocular pressure. This helps prevent damage to the optic nerve and reduces the risk of vision loss. It is generally used once daily in the evening. TV-Prost is well tolerated by most patients and is often prescribed when a single-agent therapy is sufficient. Common side effects may include mild eye redness, eyelash growth, or darkening of the iris over long-term use. Regular monitoring by an ophthalmologist is essential.
